Moscow, SANA- Babakov Alexander,Deputy Chairman of the State Duma, stressed that the West was insisted to impose siege and embargo on the Syrian people at a time they suffer the aftermath of the earthquake.

"The allegations about offering aid to Syria by the West led by the US are the stuff of fantasy" Babakov said to SANA correspondent.

Babakov stressed that the US and its allies abstaining to provide assistance to the quake-affected people in Syria means that they are ready to provide this aid to support the terrorism along with adopting provocations against Syria and all other states with anti-Western policies.
