Damascus, SANA- Acting Minister of Health, Dr. Maher al-Sharaa, discussed, with the President of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) , Dr. Hazem Bakla, the organizations projects and activities, and strengthening coordination and cooperation mechanisms.
The meeting took place last evening at the organizations building, where Dr. al-Sharaa articulated that Syria's sensitive phase requires the establishment and development of clear mechanisms for cooperation and participation in planning and service delivery processes, thereby supporting the response to the growing needs especially related to the health sector.
In turn, Dr. Paklla affirmed that the Syrian Arab Red Crescent is constantly starting its humanitarian responses from its supporting and integral role for government institutions, reviewing the history of cooperation between the Ministry of Health and the organization.
