The Security Council holds a briefing today at 10 a.m. on the political and humanitarian situation in Syria. Deputy Special Envoy for Syria Najat Rochdi and Ramesh Rajasingham, Director of Coordination at the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, are expected to brief the 15-member Council.
