Turkish Airline Anadolu Jet inaugurates its First Flight to Damascus

Istanbul, SANA-The Turkish airline Anadolu Jet inaugurated on Tuesday its first direct flight from Sabiha Gken International Airport in Istanbul to Damascus.

According to the Anadolu News Agency, a special ceremony was held at the airport to mark the occasion prior to the departure of the inaugural flight. Attendees included Halil Uar, the Administrative Director of Sabiha Airport; Kemal Yksel, Director General of Turkish Civil Aviation; Faruk Kacr, Head of the Sabiha Airport Authority; and Kerem Sarp, General Manager of AnadoluJet.

Following the ceremony, the aircraft departed for Damascus, marking the airlines first official flight to the Syrian capital.
