Charg dAffaires of the French Embassy inDamascus, Jean-Baptiste Favre, said his country is supporting efforts to enhance food security in Syria and ensure the rehabilitation of infrastructure across the country.
In a post on X platform, Favre said Monday:Francesupports the work of the World Food Programme in Syria, which aims at food security in addition to the rehabilitation of infrastructure throughout the country.
We are committed to accompanying Syrian men and women in rebuilding their homeland, he added.
Frances support for the World Food Programme in Syria comes is a part of international efforts aimed at supporting food security and promoting reconstruction in Syria.
