Authorities have discovered a mass grave in the Talkalakh area of western Homs countryside, a security official said Saturday.

Mohammad al-Khaled, media officer at the Homs Internal Security Directorate, told SANA that the grave was uncovered during security operations in the area. Teams from the competent authorities have begun on-site examination and investigation procedures to determine the identities of the victims and the circumstances surrounding their deaths.

Officials said the investigation remains ongoing, and further details will be released as identification and forensic processes continue.
