Homs, 28. Dec (SANA)Al-Qusayr Field Hospital in Homs province in central Syria has received a newanesthesia machineas part of the Fajr Al-Qusayr campaign, aimed at strengthening healthcare services in the region.
The hospitals director, Mohammad Idris, told SANA that the equipment was donated by Dar Al-Zahraa Hospital in the Lebanese city of Tripoli and will help enhance medical services for residents of the al-Qusayr area, home to around 160,000 people.
He added the new machine will improve patient care and support the hospitals surgical capacity.
Opened in October, the hospital has 60 beds and includes an operating theatre, a 12-bed intensive care unit, a dialysis center equipped with six modern machines, and a physical rehabilitation center for patients with physical, hearing, and psychological disabilities.
Last month, the Fajr Al-Qusayr campaign raised approximately $10.08 million to fund service and development projects in the al-Qusayr area in southwestern Homs countryside.
