Damascus, SANA - Al-Habib Iyad Arsan, the youngest Syrian inventor and programmer, was crowned first place last June at the International Kings of Excellence and Creativity Festival for Talents from the Arab and Islamic World.
He was also officially appointed vice president of the festival, making him the youngest scientific leader at this event.
Arsan, has excelled in mathematics and computer programming since he was five years old, and was the youngest child in Syria and the Arab world to obtain the ICDL (International Computer Driving License) certificate at age of five.
The child is a passionate reader, having read so far more than 620 books in various fields, memorized parts of the Holy Quran, with more than 55 inventions covering various fields, such as artificial intelligence, physics, and digital technologies.
He was granted honorary membership in the Mubdi'un Foundation and was considered the youngest member of the Syrian National Team for Space Sciences and Astronomy.
Arsan is also the youngest scientific consultant at the Makers of Leadership Foundation, and an ambassador of excellence, creativity, success, and superiority.
