Syria Signs Agreement with Ansar to Support Sustainable Development

The General Commission for Scientific Agricultural Research in Syria signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Monday with the International Commission for Relief and Development (Ansar) to enhance cooperation in the fields of scientific research, sustainable development, and humanitarian support.

The memorandum outlines plans to implement agricultural and development projects aimed at supporting agricultural sustainability, humanitarian efforts, scientific research, and capacity-building through training courses in Syria.

Under the agreement, the General Commission for Scientific Agricultural Research and Ansar will collaborate on programs and initiatives designed to improve agricultural and humanitarian conditions in crisis-affected areas.

Ansar, a non-governmental organization registered in Turkey, focuses on relief and development projects, as well as early recovery initiatives that empower local communities to ensure a better quality of life. The organization was established in early 2012.
