Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry Nidal alShaar met on Thursday with Muhammad Mughees Afzal, Head of Mission of the Embassy of Pakistan in Damascus, to discuss ways of strengthening bilateral relations and enhance economic and trade cooperation.
The two sides explored partnership opportunities in industry, investment, and trade, emphasizing the importance of activating joint channels to expand cooperation in a way that benefits both countries.
Minister alShaar reaffirmed Syria's commitment to deepening cooperation with Pakistan and supporting initiatives that promote economic growth.
For his part, the Pakistani official expressed his countrys readiness to further enhance economic ties and broaden areas of joint collaboration in the near future.
