Damascus,Dec. 01 (SANA)SyriaHealth Minister Musab Al-Alidiscussed Monday withUNICEFs representative to Syria Myrta Rilano Arana avenues of cooperation in healthcare.
The meeting addressed mechanisms for rehabilitating 82 health centers as well as plans for vaccine distribution, enhancing cooperation in building the capacities of health institutions, and organizing workshops to train and empower medical personnel.
Syrian Ministry of Health received in August three advanced refrigeration trucks from UNICEF as part of efforts to strengthen the national immunization system with support from the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI).
