Damascus, Jan.9 (SANA)Minister of Foreign Affairs and ExpatriatesAsaad Hassan al-Shaibanireceived Friday a phone call from Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi.
During the call, the two ministers discussed recent developments in Syria. Minister Safadi reaffirmed Jordans firm position in supporting the Syrian governments efforts to consolidate security, stability, and Syrias sovereignty.
The discussion also addressed the importance of strengthening the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and emphasized continuing coordination and joint cooperation to serve mutual interests and reinforce the historical ties between the Syrian and Jordanian peoples.
